Sponsors of the July 2005 Scramble:

JULY 2005 SCRAMBLE

The Sidewalk Scramble is Sidewalk's weekend filmmaking competition. Fueled by caffeine and competition, teams are challenged to create a short film -- from concept to completion -- in under 48 hours.

At the Scramble weekend "Kickoff," teams are given Inspiration Items (or secret ingredients) that they must incorporate in their short films to ensure they weren't written ahead of time.

Visit The Scramble Connection to talk the talk and walk the walk -- or just to look for folks to join your team...

Got questions about the Scramble? Call Catherine at 205.324.0888 or drop her an email at catherine@sidewalkfest.com

July 2005 Sidewalk Scramble prizes include: $500 for 'Best in Show' and $250 for the Audience Choice Winner. Plus, for the first time ever, Bottle Rocket Post is offering the prize for the 'Best Use of Inspiration Items' award: 2 days of online post-production on their Discreet Inferno to help take your next film to a whole new level. (Prize can only be used on non-commercial or other approved projects.)

Click here to listen to the Sidewalk Scramble on WBHM's "Tapestry," as they follow Team Bloodjet! during the November 2004 Scramble when they produced their musical / horror short "See You On the Other Side," which went on to claim Best in Show and Audience Choice awards.
