July 2004 Scramble Jury

Summer Scramble submissions were judged by Sidewalk alumni including: Amber Benson ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer," Sidewalk 2002 Audience Choice Feature CHANCE); Andrew Bujalski (Sidewalk 2002 award-winner FUNNY HA HA, recipent of the "Someone to Watch" Independent Spirit Award); Hanelle Culpepper (Sidewalk 2003 fave A SINGLE ROSE); Curtis Hannum (Sidewalk 2003 Audience Choice Feature THE REAL OLD TESTAMENT); and Gabe Wardell (Sidewalk jury member 1999-2003, AFI Silver Theatre, Baltimore)

July 2004 Scramble DVD owners, please note: Because of the method we used to create the master screening and dub copies of the Summer Scramble, some films don't sound as great as they should on the DVD -- particularly on the films from teams Mascot and Oak Hill. We are working to ensure these problems don't repeat themselves for future Scrambles, but please be aware that any sound quailty problems are our fault and not the fault of the teams behind the productions.
